Over and Over

Today I was thinking about movies I love. That lead to me thinking about the movies I have watched the most amount of times. The movies I have watched over and over again aren't necessarily my favorites, but I thought it was interesting. Most of my repeat viewing occurred during my preteen years, but I still do it on occasion.

Movies I have watched the most times...

1. Dirty Dancing
2. Girls Just Want to Have Fun
3. Lost Boys
4. French Kiss
5. Better Off Dead

What about you?

There are so many movies that I watch and never get bored of, so it's tough for me to name them all.

Just a few are:

Shawshank Redemption
Scent of a Woman
Braveheart

Dare I admit movies like My Best Friend is a Vampire? I think i'll keep that one a secret for now.

I love Better Off Dead! To this day, it STILL makes me laugh. And ya know, everytime I watch it, I always find myself laughing at something different from the last time I watched it. (The last time, I was rolling when the green goo walked off John Cusack's plate. I don't know why. Something about the way he was poking at it.)

It's a shame they don't make comedies like that anymore.

Julie, I've watched those more than a few times, too! I just watched The Princess Bride again last weekend... I have hooked my kids!

Crash, your choices are very interesting to me. Hmmm. ;)

Mystery Man, I know what you mean! The slime w/ raisins is super funny! It is a shame they don't make movies like that anymore!

5 movies I've watched over 100 times:

1. The Magnificient Seven
2. Ghost Dog
3. Panic
4. Casablanca
5. The Big Sleep

(and you could probably add, 5a. You've Got Mail, and 5b. To Hell and Back)

And that's just a tiny fraction of the films I've watched over and over again, this doesn't include the TV shows which I've seen so many times I can recite dialog for every charactor line for line...but that's another subject, isn't it?
